China has been cracking down on illegal entry, employment, marriage fraud, and visa document fraud since the implementation of the new Entry-Exit Administration Law in 2013.

If you are a foreigner living or working in China, it is important to follow the rules:

01.Enter China legally

Holding a valid visa and passport through designated ports

02.Legal Residence

Do not overstay your visa or residence permit and apply for an extension before they expire.

03.Legal Employment

Obtain a work visa and residence permit before working in China and do not exceed the scope of your work permit.

Foreign students in China are not allowed to work beyond the prescribed scope or time limit.

Breaking these rules could result in deportation and a ban from entering China for five years. Stay informed and stay legal.
