Good News ! Much easier of Authentication Procedures
Starting from November 7th, the legal effects of the Hague Convention will take effect in Chinese mainland, which will significantly simplify the authentication procedures for documents between China and other signatories to the Convention.
This means that any public document affixed with the apostille from any signatory state will be legally effective in China and vice versa, without requiring authentication or legalization by embassies or consulates.
What kind of documents can be authenticated by The Hague Convention?
01.Personal Documents:
Birth certificate, marriage certificate, court divorce decision, green card, passport, real estate certificate, etc.
02.Documents of International Students: Transcripts, academic certificates, etc.
03.Proofs:Single certificate, no criminal record certificate, death certificate, etc.
04.Business Documents
Registration certificate, legal personality, agreement, contract, power of attorney, declaration, appointment letter, trademark certificate, asset certificate, credit certificate, director information, shareholder information, articles of association, meeting minutes, company name change document, invoice, certificate of origin, customs declaration, product certificate, product introduction and other company documents.

Overall, this simplification of authentication procedures will make it easier and more efficient for people and businesses to conduct cross-border activities between China and other signatory states to the Hague Convention.
